Cognitive and Sensory Impairments
This inservice is designed for long term care nursing assistants, CNA's, and home health aides to describe goals, interventions, and communication techniques for assisting residents and clients with memory problems, impaired decision-making, impaired hearing, impaired speech, and visual impairment. Validation Therapy is described. Steps for hearing aid care are explained.
