Safe and Healthy Home Environment

This inservice is designed for home health aides and CNA's and provides guidelines on assessing client homes for safety and sanitation hazards. Interventions are given to assist clients to improve and maintain homes free of sanitation, fire, break-in, and accident hazards. Information is provided on assisting clients with emergency preparedness and safe self-administration of medications.


On completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
