Who Approves CPR Certification?
Pedagogy Inc. is an accredited continuing education provider that follows the strict guidelines for CPR training according to the Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) guidelines and the American Heart Association guidelines.

The American Heart Association is the United States’ representative of ILCOR and cannot approve, endorse, or give accreditation for CPR training for any other organization. The American Heart Association publishes their own CPR courses and materials for education just like Pedagogy-Inc. and the Red Cross. There is no recognized organization that provides a national endorsement of approval of CPR education. As such, all CPR education providers are free to establish their own curriculum, based on the Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) guidelines.

At Pedagogy, we believe that online training is a superior way to keep healthcare professionals informed and current in the important life- saving skills of Basic Life Support, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillators.  Pedagogy’s CPR for the Healthcare Professional was developed by AHA certified intructors, so that healthcare professionals and employers are able to confidently benefit from our online education.
